Water droplets defying gravity by use of acoustics

The LeviZen is a novelty device that can levitate water droplets mid-air. Those same droplets, if illuminated by the focused light source on the base, can seem like a levitating light source. It works by using two identical high frequency sound waves which travel against each other to create a standing wave. This standing wave is where you can have the levitating effect.

Typically, devices like these are show off items that sit on a desk and collect dust. This design can actually be useful if you use it to showcase special items. For example, a jeweler can use this tech to suspend precious pendants or crystals in the air. Or when scaled, it can be used to exhibit heavier items in an eye catching way.
