Laptop powered by docked Smart Phone

Laptop powered by docked Smart Phone

The Razer's Project Linda concept is one of the new techs that wowed attendees at the just concluded #CES2018 exhibition. Here, the docked smart phone serves as an intelligent touchpad to bridge the gap between handhelds and laptop convenience. The phone's high RAM performance, display and speakers combine seamlessly with the laptop's larger screen, keyboard and battery.

This is an interesting concept as we've not seen anything similar. However, does this afford you enough flexibility to the point where one might want to buy? What if you lose your phone, is your laptop now useless? An exciting spin to this concept would be where the user can easily dock on any laptop and have their settings/preferences always with them. That might cater to people that need an ultra-portable full computer in their hands.
