Back with a vengeance!

Back with a vengeance!

After several years of non-activity, I’ve been re-inspired to bring this website back to life. The creative direction has not changed, just extended. The goal is to jot down more ideas and implement on some of those ideas. The plan is to document the process, my thoughts and personal experience as I go through the projects and life in general.

What have I been doing the past few years?

  • I transitioned in my career: I went from being a business development Sales Engineer to an Application/Costing Engineer to Sales Consultant designing logistic automation solutions for Airports, Parcel and Warehouse companies. I even have somewhat of a career mentor now.

  • Data Science, Machine Learning and AI: I had an idea to create a service to help people decide where to go for lunch (I eat out more than I’m willing to admit..) using a set of inputs. After research, I realized this was a machine learning problem and I taught myself Python programming language to bring this idea to fruition by myself. For 3 months I studied Python daily and during this process, my eyes opened to the endless applications of machine learning and A.I so much so I forgot the reason why I started on the path. In the end, no ideas were brought to fruition but I had a new tool in my toolbox which proved to be handy in creating a prediction model at work.

  • Pig farm: With goals of financial freedom and generating cashflow, I partnered with a friend to start a pig farm in Nigeria. The jury is still out on this one as to whether this was a sensible investment.

  • Girlfriends: During these years, I’ve had the opportunity of having romantic interests that have really helped me decide the qualities I seek from a lifelong partner.

  • Vision: For the first time in my life, I now have the first draft of my passion statement - “I was created to use my talents of learning, analyzing details, conceptualizing, intuition and empathy to perform my passions of innovating, creating solutions and strategizing to accomplish my mission of helping people solve technical and non-technical problems“

Where am I going? To the moon, baby.
