Cycle your food waste back into reusable energy

Cycle your food waste back into reusable energy

When good design meets with forward thinking and environmental consciousness, you get HomeBioGas. How much thought have you put into where your food waste is going? Now you can be responsible and take control. This machine will eat up that stale pizza and leftovers from 2 weeks ago that you forgot in your fridge and turn it back into cooking gas and fertilizer all WITHOUT electricity. It works by using a special bacteria that reacts with the food waste to produce methane gas. This gas is then filtered further before storing in the gas tank.

In the past, I have thought of systems that can transform waste (any kind of waste)  into reusable energy but often I get stuck when it comes to feasibility because these systems are very capital intensive. The designers of HomeBioGas found a work-around using a single waste-type approach to make the systems portable and family friendly. Clever.
